The Nintendo Superpipe means that Whistler-Blackcomb is also a favourite for boarders. The new Peak 2 Peak Gondola is opening in December 2008; this 3km (almost 1.9 miles!), 11-minute journey from the top of Whistler to the top of Blackcomb will open up infinite possibilities for exploring the mountains!

The Whistler Kids Ski & Snowboard School offers daily group lessons for all ages and abilities. Ski programmes start from 3-17 years with 5 day courses from Monday to Friday and two day courses over the weekend. Snowboard programmes start from 6 years - teens. All day programmes include lunch. Infant and toddler care is available for ages 3 months - 36 months from C$95. Blackcomb has a slow moving Magic Chair and there is a kids-only area at one of the mid stations.back to top
